This week’s Raw had some banger matches. Unfortunately, it was a tough night for Damage CTRL as they suffered major defeats on the show. First, Dakota Kai and Kairi Sane lost their tag team opportunity, and then Iyo Sky lost her Queen of the Ring semi-finals.
Asuka has opened up regarding her knee injury. On her YouTube channel Kana Chan TV, Asuka said she was taking a break following Backlash to treat a knee injury.
Dakota Kai was thrilled to go back to France for Backlash. WWE hosted its first-ever PLE in mainland Europe earlier this month. Backlash 2024 emanated from Lyon in France, with some incredible matches on show for the lively crowd.
A new match has been announced for tonight’s WWE Raw. Becky Lynch vs. Dakota Kai will now take place on the show. WWE previously revealed that Lynch would be “in action” on Monday’s episode but didn’t reveal Kai as her opponent until today on WWE Now.
Becky Lynch will face Dakota Kai on the May 13 episode of WWE RAW. During the May 10 episode of WWE SmackDown, WWE confirmed that Women’s World Champion Becky Lynch would be in action on the May 13 episode of WWE RAW.
Dakota Kai is staying on top of things. Damage CTRL’s Dakota Kai and IYO SKY spoke with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard. Kai returned to the ring earlier this year after being sidelined with an ACL injury since May 2023.
It was recently reported that former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, The Empress of Tomorrow, Asuka was severely injured and was not medically cleared to compete.
If you watched RAW, you may have caught a change in plans, and it turns out that Asuka was pulled from Queen of the Ring with a legitimate injury. It was an eventful few days for the member of Damage CTRL.
